Emir to inaugurate equestrian club today

JEDDAH – On behalf of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah, is set to open here Sunday the new equestrian club and the new Park Hayat Hotel.
Osama Abdul Rahman Aba Al-Khail, Director General of the Equestrain Club in Makkah, said the idea of the equestrian club in Jeddah is the brainchild of King Abdullah. He said the club would serve as a social gathering place for the citizens of Jeddah.
He said King Abdullah ordered an allocation of SR50 million for the project and the formation of a board of directors under the chairmanship of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal. – SG
